History

Intent

Through a high quality History curriculum, pupils gain factual knowledge about British and world history. Our History curriculum will allow our pupils to acquire a range of historical skills of enquiry to enable them to ‘know more, remember more, do more’. We believe that the History curriculum stimulates pupils’ curiosity in the world around them and promotes a respect for beliefs, behaviour and characteristics of people and events from the past whilst encouraging critical and creative thinking.
