Complaints
The majority of issues raised by parents, or pupils, are concerns rather than complaints. Widney Junior School is committed to taking concerns seriously, in order to resolve issues at the earliest stage. Senior Leaders endeavour to meet parents as soon as possible to resolve any concerns raised.
However, in those instances where a parent does not feel a concern has been addressed, or it is of sufficient gravity, then the school’s formal complaints’ procedure should be used. Formal complaints will be dealt with in a sensitive, impartial and confidential manner. The complaints policy can be accessed below:
Complaints related to SEND
Initially, the school SENCo, Mrs Jodie Sutton, should be contacted with any concerns. If the matter is not resolved the school’s official complaints policy should be used.
